I'd be fine if they just removed the whole thing. It would get ready of all these unimportant news stories about it.

As a Christian, I don't much like "pledging" allegiance to a flag that represents wickedness and abomination, and a country who's "god" is the devil.

Has anyone considered the reasons why God is mentioned in the Pledge?

Its to praise God, not our country. So in truth you are not worshiping the USA when you take the pledge.

So if an athiest takes umbridge at that...good. He has the right not to say it...and he should learn the reasons why this country was established.
