So without going into all the details I'm going to try a new church this week. I actually haven't been attending in a while due to stubbornness and work scheduling. But I'm looking for something more conservative as I feel closer to God while in that setting. Anyways, I'm not nervous, more excited cause I'm pretty social and upbeat, so meeting new people and being in a new setting is like an adventure. However, what have been some of your first time experiences with a new church....good, weird, mind blowing, awkward?

I AM EXCITED FOR YOU!!! Sorry, can you tell lol? :D I too have started going to a new church, after a lonnnng time of being away from church. I do not enjoy church shopping! I am definitely an extravert and I need some more people and friends in my life, so I'm excited about it! I went to church twice so far, and I missed it today due to being out of town. I'm excited! Last week was really good! The new people I met were so cool and friendly! I met them in Sunday School, a smaller group of less than ten people. I think the smaller group was good for people getting to know me. What about you, are you going to Sunday School too? How was it! Meet anyone cool so far?
 
Makes me happy to hear of people attending church. I've been to many churches even if only for a visit that day or for a special. I do feel it's good to have a home church. Somewhere you can go regularly. Be familiar and friends with the church. I love attending church n being fed the Gospel.. we get it all, preaching, singing, laughing, crying, and praising. I hope you find what you are needing in way of a church. The first day or two you may feel like all eyes ?????? are on you but it will be okay.. or maybe you like attention lol.... Good luck
 
Well I went tonight and I actually knew quite a few people there so that was kind of cool. The only hiccup was that you need to have a chat with the pastor before taking communion with the congregation even though I have been confirmed, which I never encountered before. But it's no big deal I have two weeks to fix that, and I respect their traditions. I took it in Spirit anyways. I'm not really going for anyone but me and my relationship with God at this point.
