you may notice more and more all wheel drive (AWD) vehicles these days. Why? Cause AWD will wear out your transmission twice as fast which means more service for them. Think about it. Unlike 4 wheel drive which you can engage 4x4 only when you need it, AWD stays engaged 24/7, and how often do you really need 4 wheel drive? Unless your coon hunting every weekend or have a pond in the middle of your driveway, almost never.
