Hello brothers and sisters of the faith.. I made an account here to give a prayer request to you. Recently, I have been doing things that I used to do before I was saved. I just don't seem to care anymore while I do these things. I don't want to be specific, but I've gone back to sinning in the day and asking for forgiveness before going to sleep, so to speak. I know that's not how it works, and I really don't want to wither away spiritually. Please ask God to help me.

Please keep me in your prayers and ask God to give me wisdom, so I won't be foolish, strength, so I won't give in so easily, and mercy, so that He will continue to deal with me. Thank you, and I hope you all stay on the straight path.

You are in my prayers in Jesus Christ is Lord!

Do you want to know what the most beautiful part about the parrable of the prodgical son?
We all see that the father was waiting wih open arms for his son to return.
But the part that has touched my heart in Jesus is..
That the son could not lose his inhearitance, because the true inhearitance is the fathers love!!!
God does not weary or tire, His understanding no one can fathom.
His love is given , in Jesus, through the Holy Spirit!
Keep holding on to Jesus in faith, you will know His care! :)

God bless.

Pray and stay in his word....read it and meditate on it daily. This will help to strengthen you.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Psalms 103:11-12 For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

Hebrews 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Psalm 51
Have mercy upon me, O God,
According to Your lovingkindness;
According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,
Blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
And cleanse me from my sin.

3 For I acknowledge my transgressions,
And my sin is always before me.
4 Against You, You only, have I sinned,
And done this evil in Your sight—
That You may be found just when You speak,[a]
And blameless when You judge.

5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
And in sin my mother conceived me.
6 Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts,
And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.

7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;
Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Make me hear joy and gladness,
That the bones You have broken may rejoice.
9 Hide Your face from my sins,
And blot out all my iniquities.

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me
.
11 Do not cast me away from Your presence,
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.

12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
13 Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,
And sinners shall be converted to You.

14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,
The God of my salvation,
And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.
15 O Lord, open my lips,
And my mouth shall show forth Your praise.
16 For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You do not delight in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and a contrite heart—
These, O God, You will not despise.

18 Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion;
Build the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness,
With burnt offering and whole burnt offering;
Then they shall offer bulls on You

An animal that backslides is still tugged forward, the master still has him by the neck. It is the animal that the master releases to his own way that has to come back. If you back slide far enough you will break the rope.

Now, this is an issue of the latter kings of Israel. Time and time again they would rebuild what are called, high places. And they sacrificed on these high places to foreign gods. But I always tell people who deal with addiction about Josiah, the righteous king, who destroyed the high places of Israel. He burned them down.

When I was being tortured with this demon, which is what it is, I was convicted every time and decided to do something. And then I read: ''make no provision for the flesh to fulfill the lust thereof.'' We trick ourselves into sinning. We set the stage and then engage even seeing the way out. So these words didn't do much except give me a WAY OUT.

And then I had to destroy the high places, which are things that keep me doing what I did, usually coming through my ears and my eyes. I destroyed them and as soon as they were gone I had such a great peace. Actually it was as if a heavy yoke was lifted. But then I became restless as I didn't know what to do, I had nothing to do. Then I read the bible some, and got bored, and then I went outside and walked around all day, doing stuff, and I would do this every day. Yet, I would go home and that same devil would be waiting to torment me in my mind. So I tried to dig up all the old stuff I had buried in my room, And I tore it up, anything that had to do with my old lifestyle. And I got more of a release too.

It is like when those sorcerers found out about Jesus and his power, they brought together all their books of sorcery and burned them. Or how the tax collector said he would pay back all he owed. They had faith to do something about it. Well, may Jesus bless you.

(You cannot destroy people, that is against the Lord, and you cannot destroy another's possessions.)
