This is the 2nd time I have posted on this topic.I'm sorry I just feel really confused and like it's to much to think about.

1. what exactly is blasphmey against the holy spirit ?

2. By explaining blasphmey against the holy spirit thoughts does that mean I have commited it ?

3. Is questioning and asking the question how do we know all good things or good things come from god.Is that considered blasphmey against the holy spirit ?

4. How do I know if I have committed it ?

So people say by feeling worried about it that means that I haven't most likely committed it.So then I start not to worry and I'm like am I guilty for not worrying. It's like so confusing and hard.Right now I feel better I just had a long talk with my older sister and It really helped.

Are you concerned that you may have committed the unpardonable sin?

The pharasees called Jesus evil when he was casting out spirits , calling the Holy Ghost evil is
pure blasphame, the Spirit in Jesus was and is God himself

Blaspheme of the Holy Spirit is saying that God cannot forgive anyone of any sin. ALL things are possible with God.

Basically to blaspheme the Holy Spirit is the same as Grieving the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the one who draws us to Christ. He pleads to the father, uttering things we cannot on our behalf. If you don't accept the guidance He offers, then there's no way for you to be saved. If you're concerned that you committed the Unpardonable sin, then there's a good chance you haven't.

The article below is good for bed time reading.

While I don't agree with the premillenial/dispensational and lordship salvation errors of John MacArthur, here's a good presentation that he made of what blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Thanks Abiding, I think there's much to what is said in that sermon. Basically, he touches an area that many are aware of, but seldom speak out on. Must appreciate it.

Blaspheming the Spirit is the same today as it was when Christ addressed it, only instead of involving the work of one person (Christ), it involves the work of the body of Christ that has been raised up by God. When the work of the body of Christ functions in the unity of the Spirit and the fruit of that work is attributed as an evil thing, then you have blasphemy against the Holy Spirit's work in the body of Christ. When there are those that consider winning lost souls or seeking lost souls an evil thing or when your love covers a multitude of sins in a fallen brother's life, and is considered evil, that is a spirit of blasphemy against the work of the Holy Spirit that is shedding abroad the love of God in the heart.

When the work of the devil is attributed to the work of God, that is a counterfeit deception to trick and fool weak minded believers who do not have sound doctrine. This is not blasphemy against the Spirit but rather against the word and doctrine that would give the believer discernment into the things of God. There is also not such thing as an unpardonable sin, the scriptures simply say that this kind of evil is unforgivable. The reason it is unforgivable is because evil is what is being dealt with and not sin. With His blood Christ paid for sin and not evil. We are forgiven of sin (1Jn 1:7-9) but we need to be delivered from evil (Mt 6:13, Lk 11:4). Those that blaspheme the Spirit are in danger of eternal damnation (Mk 3:29) and must be delivered from that evil spirit because it is not something that can forgiven by saying that your sorry or even by repenting.

Mk 3:22-30
Lk 11:14-3
Mt 10:24,25
Is 5:20,21
Ps 37:27, 38:20, 109:5
Prov 17:13
Is 7:14-16
Jer 4:22

PS - Never should any man, who is a minister of the righteousness of God, ever let evil come forth from his mouth to speak against any man of God, even if it is a man like Billy Graham, who has born much fruit from God (Mt 12:22-36). David wouldn't do it against king Saul and God had taken the Spirit from him, rent the kingdom away and Saul had tried to kill David on several occasions because of jealousy. But David, even in Saul's death, would not speak evil of him. How do we justify speaking evil of any servant that stands of falls before his Master, who raised him up.
