Just for added references of previous blog posts, it wasn't possible to get a collection of eternal security verses posted in the Bible Discussion Forum in one blog post, so here is a link to that post, if any would like to see a collection of eternal security proofs from scripture,

Also, as to the rapture, here is a link to a scholarly document on the subject of the pretribulation rapture, which is in agreement with many other Spirit-filled, learned Bible scholars,

(Note: There are those taking a second look at some Luke 17 and Matthew 24 verses of our Lord teaching, already mentioned in The Rapture - Part 1, as pertaining to the rapture, later plainly revealed through Paul: a sudden event of global scope, when life is going on as usual, people eating and drinking, et cetera, likened to Noah and Lot, an event removing those of God, that is followed by disaster(s).)

There is a trend of some in forums to be Lone Rangers of Bible exegesis, people claiming the Holy Spirit is enlightening them to interpret the Bible, contrary to a large body of Christendom, often denying basic gospel truths Sunday School children can understand. It is foolish and arrogant, sinful, to think one is an island, with private interpretations, worse to be teaching others lies and leading into error.

Dismissing what dedicated, learned seminarians and great men of God have taught, down the ages, is simply foolishness, and beware bad exegesis of scripture, from those babblers with only a pretense of any scholarship and authentic spirituality.
