Speaking from a technological point of view, what dangers do people see with brain chip implants?
One of the real big dangers that I see with this kind of technology is "mind control" and my opinion based on research, this is the only true reason for why such a device.
Now I think this is where I think since the invention of the TV, a lot of peoples brains have become to lazy to think. Correct me if I have made an error but I think there is evidence to confirm constant TV watching can literally affect a persons brain and their ability to think.
So what if with brain chip implants it goes to the next level, permanent mind control, or control of approved data. Now with all this wireless technology we see today, it is not too hard to imagine a society where people have information downloaded to their brains rather than read. One of the problems I see with such a technology is not the information that people will be allowed to have, but it is the information that will be kept hidden from people, or to put another way, censorship.
20 years ago, the idea of people literally becoming drones like the ones you see on TV shows, like The Borg on Star Trek and The Cybermen on Doctor Who would seem impossible, but now today with the advances in robotics and artificial intelligence, this could actually be a reality.
It just seems today, I have been noticing more and more that people have to automatically believe everything they are told. That is very dangerous. If we were meant to believe everything people say, we would of not been given brains but instead a printed circuit board inside our skulls instead. That is my opinion.
