Does God say this for His health? This is The Lord God speaking in quotes, in malachi 3:10, through the prophet, Malachi.

This WHOLE book is a 'burden' of the Lord said to Israelites.....

Malachi 3:10 -
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this," says the LORD of hosts, "if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.”

Did you know that 'unfaithfulness' is blasphemy to God. And, no, even though it is said in the OT and not the NT it is,a CROCK to say that tithing does not apply.

You do know the verse in the new testament : ”He is same today, as yesterday, as forevermore.” ??

God also says in Malachi 3:11 , after telling you He will give you abundant blessings for tithing , that He will keep you from The Enemy, who wants,to ”devour.” And, the Devil wants to stomach you , lol. Oh wait, that's not funny, is,it, lol.

So go take your talk of tithing not important today somewhere else, it is. It is FAITHFULLY important, but, again, the Lord leads, and, by His Spirit you should ALLOW your self led. One thing for sure in closing, don't be naive and quit making the 'gospel' convenient for you.

Ahd, IF you just were not understanding of the importance of tithing, well, you can say, 'Oh my, God, thank you, Lord for just now making it quotefully clear how important giving to you, in church, iin charities, even on Christian websites that the Lord leads you to frequent. And, yrs, the Spirit leads me and, as He leads, I ALWAYS give, I hope and pray.


Give ! Do not let Satan entereth in . And, when I tithe, give to c.c. as I have, I am ALWAYS blessed and I feel His presence, of which Satan will not stand in. :)

May God bless you all, let go and let Him lead And, don't feel guilty if you can't give much, give as the Spirit leads. Guilt is from Satan ! God will convict us but there will be NO guilt. :)

Give because you appreciate His blessings and His promise of a life being lived in Him will GIVE you eternal life :)

Yes, tithing is very important. Especially considering all the unnecessary things we buy for our entertainment, and we can't donate funds for a ministry? I need to improve in this area myself.

Christian Chat is a wonderful ministry. I know there's a lot that goes on behind the scenes that we users don't realize! Thank you CC-mods, administrators,etc. who use your time and energy to maintain this site! I'm going to mail a check tomorrow...sorry I haven't done it sooner!

Lucy, I pray God blesses you abundantly for giving to Him, however the Spirit leads, tithe and otherwise, and, yes, c.c. is a great blessing for so many and it takes a lot of folk to make it run-thousands of dollars per month-I pray for great things for roboOp and all those that volunteer and help whenever the Spirit leads, like now. It is a great ministry most of all because the unsaved become with Christ forevermore living their life :)

i believe giving our money to the lord is very important. i like to support the christian section in stores. walmart, hastings, and barns and noble all have a christian section(though i do not shop barns and noble because they sale pornography). i feel it is important to support the sale of christian goods so that they will always be available in places where the world shops. the christian section of the store is a witness to the world. we should support christian music and literature with our purchasing power. thank jesus for the bibles in stores where everyone shops.

mal 3:10 if read in context were to those under law and even outlines what it is meant to be used for not just the levites, why and how were they robbing God?

people, your needing to sit back and ALL realize this: whether the Lord said that Malachi 3:10 and 3:11 and 3:12 in OT or NT , the fact is what?

He said it, in quotes . Don't be naive, don't make God's word your gospel of convenience. YOU need to understand His GRACE, His MERCY, utterly AMAZING yields of BOTH, infinite yields. Christ's dying on cross gave us direct ACCESS to God through the Holy Spirit gift that we MUST receive, unless Acts 8 is not believed.


Tithing to YOUR church is quintessential to both blessings received, and, KEEPING the Enemy at bay from you, from 'devouring you.

What part of THAT all don't you understand, God relationships with you through YOUR tithing. And, YES!, you are to give to OTHER HELPS ,too, needy, poor, organizations you BELIEVE are doing good work and not wasting money by high % of donations going to administrations, etc.
Websites can help you choose where to give, but, ultimately, just follow the Spirit...

And, notice, I did not mention to give 10% tithe to your church, its a can't-miss#, but LET the Holy Slirit lead you :)

And, sigh, what about cursings, and, of course, I dont wish them on you, but when you HAVE the,Holy Spirif in your life you are going to get so much blessing but tbeir will be refining too !

I shutter to think of those, my thinking here, who know WHAT God is,asking of them to support the Sabbath worship and not obeying the call . Shutttt-ter, shuttt- yikes, makes me st-uUTt-ter :(

Oh my, giving to your church, where you GET fruit, is so selfishly crass not to.give :(

You got it right, consumed, IF your not giving to.the Lord as He leads you are indeed robbing yourself of blessings and allowing your countenance to fall, sin to enter in, and, Satan to have a meal . Devour YOU.

Not sure where any insincerity lied in what I said, sorry if thought attack on you, it was not.
