"He heals the brokenhearted. He bandages their wounds."
Psalm 147:3

"If one of your toys gets broken, someone might be able to fix it. If you get hurt, someone might help by putting a bandage on the hurt place.

when a person feels very very sad. its as if something is broken or hurt inside. We say that the person's heart is broken. But no ordinary bandage will help. Only God can fix a broken heart. You can talk to him and He'll help you.

when do you feel sad? who can help you then?

Dear God, thank you for friends who pray for me when I'm sad. Thank you for fixing my heart when it feels as if it is broken. In Jesus name. Amen."

sometimes we should return to our first love: GOD and trust as we did as children with open and believing hearts trusting in the love of our Heavenly father. just wanted to remind myself and others that God still loves us no matter how old we are we are all still HIS Children.

Yes, the Lord does mend those who are broken hearted..& anything eles in our lives that seem to be broken. We just need to remember that we can take all of our brokeness to the cross. Jesus simply wants to strengthen us & help us carry on the journey upward to Heaven:)

Good words Anandahya.
Jesus is close to the broken hearted. :)

God bless.
