I know when I was a kid I was bullied, I also bullied others. Personally I don't ever remember being taught about bullying and the effects it had on other students. This could be the parents responsibility but it could also be the schools. Teaching about suicides of other students in the past could help kids understand the consequences to the action of bullying. I highly doubt many bullies think to themselves that what they are doing could lead to another student killing themselves or bringing a gun to school like many students have in the past. I personally hope schools and parents have both taken the opportunity to educate children on the effects of bullying and what to do when they see a student being bullied.
