The beast stares back with it's gentle eyes
They are my Achilles' heel
I manage to resist, but the beast merely sighs
To my dark nature it does appeal
Then taunting and smirking with it's malicious grin
It slowly wraps me in it's barbed wire
It knows all too well that I'm apt to sin
Now it's gentle eyes turn to fire
I try to go, but tugging claws do force me near
No possible escape releases the tears
I relent to fate and give in to the hideous fear
But then a light, and then my Hero so surely appears~
