We need to know why this is happening. The church is the real power and authority on earth. That's why I believe that anti Christ won't appear until the true church is raptured. I could be wrong, of course.
I'm not surprised either. However, I do believe the word of Jesus that He is building His church and the gates of hell will crumble before her. That's another reason I believe the pre-trib rapture idea. However, I won't argue the point as it is fruitless to do so.
For all the terrible things that are happening there is also good news. Many Muslims are turning to Christ, realising the emptiness and vanity of dead religion. I'm happy that people are deserting denominational Christianity, much of which is barely recognisable as Christian. The time for comfortable, acceptable and complacent "Christianism" is well past. I look for the revelation of the sons of God, the true Church rising up in the victory that is ours in Christ. I hope this will be in my lifetime. I'm 71, so maybe not.

Biden's vicious attack on sane Americans (as reported today) shows that he wants to intimidate those who reject him and his lies and evil. He is deliberately fostering hatred against those who are conservatives and Christians. And those marines who were his props should have been the ones to arrest him immediately and put him in prison.

A lot of people who have put Solar panels on there roofs to power their house and back feed the grid don't find out their solar systems are useless during a grid power failure or rolling blackouts until after they experience one. Grid tie solar systems are designed to shut down when grid power isn't available. So when the grid is down they're being cheated out of the kilowatts their panels are generating.
A battery backup solar system will continue to run as designed regardless of grid status. My modest system runs most of my house and I don't usually know if the grid was down until after the fact, so even if I still lived in Commiefornia I would have made sure the rolling blackouts wouldn't effect me. EVs can also be charged during blackouts from a solar system that's not grid tied. How quickly depends on the size of the system.

Like you, my system is simple and cheap. Charges batteries that power my whole cabin.
Interesting... couldn't there be a cutoff switch that disconnects you from the grid and allows you to power the house? Like when you have a gasoline generator?
If you are asking if you can use a gasoline generator then yes as long as you have an electric lockout installed on your breaker panel. I don't know if your solar panels or inverter will work with the generator.
If you install a grid tie system then the inverter is designed to shut off when it doesn't detect grid power. There are some hybrid inverters that are more flexible but whether you can install them and use the other features depends on whether city/county/state codes and the electric utility allows it.
Yes I was saying your solar should connect to a lockout so if the grid goes down it will still power your home without feeding into the grid.
But yeah count on the gov'ment to make that a problem.

There are potential problems with trying to use just solar panels and an inverter to power a house. Solar panels push the power they generate but can't have power pulled from them. They will work great up to the amount of power they are generating, but if more is needed then the power generation drops to zero.
So if you had 5000 watts of power being generated by your panels and you lights & TV were using 2000 watts and your refrigerators compressor try's to turn on but it requires 4000 watts to start the compressor then your whole solar system would shut down until the refrigerator is removed from the system.
That's not a problem when you grid tie system is connected to the grid because the grid props up the solar system. It's also not a problem with a properly sized battery back up system as the batteries do the propping up of the system.
I myself don't presume to blame something on God when we are told these things will happen the whole world over. Look at Pakistan, are you going to say God is going to wreak havoc on only non-Christian countries? There's a lot of evil going on and instead of slamming places having a rough time, I pray for them.

You may wonder how long it takes to power the car. Well, there is no free lunch, nor is there anything that is a perfect conversion of energy. So take the energy required to pull your car with your bicycle, add 20%, and that is what it would take. So probably something on the order of 10-16 hours to charge up the car for a thirty minute drive (depending on the traffic). So you spend 32 hours a week on the bike and then you can use your car to do errands on Saturday. Problem solved, you are welcome.
