A topic that in itself is so controversial that few dare to answer. Can you really and truly surrender to our Lord and Savior and and leave the things this world offers for a life worthy of God? Or perhaps you feel you still need a long way to go before you can totally devote yourself to Jesus and how he wants us to live?
 
This is something I have struggled with for awhile, thinking of what I WANT. I have been humbled to know its not what I want but what God wants, so yes I will give up all for Jesus, and He knows that. He knows that I am his, and that I will do what he wants me to do, I am still a sinner, no one is perfect but when I find my self filling the wants of the flesh I turn to God and tell him to take away that want or desire, and I pray with a honest heart and with all I can give that God makes me just like how he wants me, to keep my eyes focus on him. It is hard to overcome but with the help of the Spirit you can truly serve Jesus the way God wants you too, you just have to be willing to surrender your self to him, then the Joy really begins.....I use to be into drugs sex, parties you name it. I have truly taken advantage of what this world has to offer, but like the prodigal son, I ended up in the mud with nothing, with no choice but to either feel sorry for me self (which is pointless) or seek the help of my Father, and that is what I did and I will NEVER regret it...I love God with all I can and know how...Jesus fills the rest to make my love acceptable to the Father.
