Cant find someone who will love me for me

my mom gave me this letter one time. its supposed to be a letter from jesus. its called"be satisfied with me" and it talks about before you can find the one god has planned for you that you need to fall in love with jesus christ and be so consumed with him that youll have the patience to wait. i know its hard i waited for awhile it seemed and one day i read that letter and started seeking jesus out then one day he dropped her in my path but the funny thing is i was sso focused on jesus and on waiting that it took some time before i realized what He was gettin at. lol so just hold in there fall in love with the king of kings and lord of lords because Jesus is truly in love with you and wants you to be pure and spotless. ill pray that gods will is done in your life and that He gives you the wisdom and the strength you need.
 
so i have felt this way so many times and i still do ...its gard to find the great guy to love you for you...im a 17 yr old christian who loves jesus..but i also want a boyfriend who loves my person...im 17 and fat,..and i realy want a nice chritian guy.....its ganna be hard but keep looking to God for help
 
now that i think about it, i never think about sex nor do i care. if you just think about sex then that is being lustfull therefore sinfull. i have never really had a lustfull thought. so guys think about things other than sex.
 
This is my point of view and this is coming from a 16 year old guy. ALL people wanna get into eachothers pants, (pardon the improper slang) if someone says they dont then theyre lying. Everyone has those urges. Its how were built. What you decide to do with those urges decides on who you really are. I'm trying to be a better person. When people I know start saying stuff about a girl and what theyre thinking about doing with her, I cant stand it. Its an issue of respect. Do you respect the girl you like or love more than your natural urges? Thats what it boils down to. Thats what you need to look for in a guy. Not good looks or anything (God willing though you can end up with that as well) but you need to look for someone who cares enough about you to fight away those things. Good luck with finding someone. Were all looking for that one person. ;)
 
Find someone after God's heart instead of looking for someone after your own, only then will you have a REAL relationship! And Pray, pray, pray about it! Ask and you shall receive. Seek God, build a stronger relationship with Him.
 
I used to feel very strongly about something like that, but when GOD went in my life my life is totally different and He is my true mate for life
 
Same :) There are a few guys after me (lol), but I want to find "the one". Not the boy who will court me, kiss me, then dump me. I want to find the one who will stay with me forever. But, instead of getting frustrated that there is no boy here who is like that, I'm just happy to know that God put my "one man" on the earth. I know he's out there somewhere :)

Your right about GOD doing the work because your now live by His authority but even if you pray there are times there is no body so you can't make people go out with you by praying my friend
 
I was fine with being single & told God that too.
A few months later, at Hume Lake Christian camp, I met my boyfriend of a yr & 1/2.
I guess being single wasn't God's plan for me at the time.
 
Remember God has a plan for you. No one person in this whole world has the same plan as you. He will guide you through life, you're only 17 so you have plenty of time to find that certain someone. I myself am only fourteen and I can't find anyone either, but I'm beginning to realize, that I am only fourteen and if I were to have someone in my life right now, i wouldn't have the proper feelings, I wouldn't be in love when I think I am. So just, wait, enjoy live with friends and family, and live you life according to God's will, he will guide you though everything.
