Absolutely abhorrent and disgusting. ICE and Nat'l Guard should be able to defend themselves by any means necessary. I have to wonder what Pres. Trump really knows about Pritzker and Johnson when he says they should be in jail.

These bounties are evidence of how desperate they are. The TV show "The Wire" was a docu drama of drug gangs in Baltimore, they show how youths and teenagers are used in the drug trade and that those kids are so broke they can't buy food if they don't get paid each week. You cut off their money for just two weeks and they have to do something else.

One of the key weaknesses of these criminal enterprises is they can't have a bank account. The money trail is how they get caught. Hence it is an all cash business, they ship the cash to Mexico or Venezuela where it is laundered. If this concerted attack can stop human trafficking, that is half of their revenue stream and if it can put a major crimp on the drugs you can destroy their cash flow.

My point is they are desperate to get the cash flow running, they have taken massive hits in the last ten months, loss of guns, drugs, people, and revenue. If people leave their organization whether they are arrested or simply quit, the entire criminal organization collapses.

Also, we used to need to flip those who are convicted, but now that they are designated as domestic terrorists we don't need to do that. We can use their phone to determine everyone they called. Even if they have already discarded those phones we know where they were located when they got the call. This gives us locations of stash houses, safe houses, and money laundering operations as well as key leaders back in Mexico and Venezuela.

The fact that Trump is taking the battle to their home turf means this isn't simply pruning the tree, he is going to uproot them.

This is why ICE is essential, if people are being rounded up and sent back in mass every day no one is going to pay 10k to 30k to the cartel to smuggle them across the border. If you eliminate the human trafficking then border patrol can focus on drug smuggling. With NSA helping it is much easier to identify and stop the drug shipments. We also have military satellites. If you catch a semi filled with drugs you can go to the video to track where that truck came from and find out where they are loading up these trucks.
