Reading Mathew 14 , verses 24 to 36. King James Bible.
Oh the truth and comfort herein. I have lost count of how many times I have cried out in those pre-dawn hours, when darkness seems everlasting and our Lord has come to me. Then morning and new hope with strength arrives.
He will allow us to go on awhile in our troubles, as with His disciples, tossed about relentlessly in the ship. The moment we cry out in faith, He saves us. His love is instant and complete though we deserve it not.
Going on to verse 36, it inspires me afresh to know that all who touched even the hem of His clothing were made whole again. So it is today and always for those who believe.
