1 Corinthians 13:4-7
New International Version
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love is a virtuous action that ultimately sets the bar extremely high to experience true love. It is vital to grow and reach for the bar but this involves an examination of ourselves. These 15 virtues are not all easy. Patience in conflict. Being kind even when others are not. Not to be selfish even when you are exhausted. Doesn't hold a list of things someone has done to wrong you. To stand on truth and say no to what the culture says is normal for a relationship.

Love is much more than just a feeling, it is an action. The feeling may have left within your marriage but with Biblical love, we choose to love not because we depend on feelings but we are commanded to love others. It is often out of action, the feelings begin or are revived.
