Humble yourself before God.

Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. (This does not exclude people on this forum and in the bible study chat room. It may sound like God -- but in reality it can be further away from God than you think.)

See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.

ARE WE TO JUDGE PEOPLE? (lets hear what the bible has to say.)

"Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.” John 7:24
Yes you ought to judge people with right judgment and using correct discernment because it can save your life; or sway you away from danger to come. God called you to edify according to his standard and with his Word as your guide. But he didn't call you to do is to condemn people. So if there are immature Christians who refuse to hear your correction and slap you with these words, "Stop judging me." You let him know that the Word of God has called us to do so for edification in love. And if he refuse to hear and continue to harass you with such worldly words. Dust your feet and walk away. Because a fool cannot receive correction, but a wise man will. This is a very touchy subjective because there can be a very fine line. But I pray that you trust in the holy Spirit and HIS WISDOM. Let him be part and do the correction and to speak for edification when it is that time.

Why did I post this?

Every year I feel like the Church of God is swaying away from the Creator of the Universe. They claim to know him and yet speak like they do not. They claim to understand him, but their own life has no evidence of him being part of their life. Their love is mix with ungodliness and what was divine. Like fresh water mixed with salt and tainted the the whole water. Come back to your Creator and fall in love with Jesus like you once did. Come back and draw closer to the Lord, and have that unconditional love that you once have that isn't tainted with salt. Our love should shine bright in this world, but it is not. And it's time Christians learn and start humbling their own life to receive edification and to grow and be more wiser. Stop acting like a fool and not wanting to hear correction. Because the son whom he love is the son in whom he corrects.
