Oh what joy my heart is filled,
Though storms and winds may come;
Though the fires consume all around,
Mine eyes I keep on HIM.

That evil one comes to kill, steal and destroy,
He throws his darts at me;
His greatest weapon is fear,
But mine eyes I keep on HE.

Oh that old devil is cunning,
He lies and deceives;
Like a snake in the grass,
But my faith is in JESUS.

Hello, what faith you have. Great Poem. It is hard to have hope in the midst of trials, but we can still have faith that God knows what's best for us, even when we don't understand what's happening.
