I was watching a show about missing cornerstones in both the white house and the Us Capital building. I find it hard to believe that a corner stone that was missing for 200 years was discovered before the U.S. Capitol’s 200-year anniversary in 1993. The cornerstone of the Whitehouse has never been found. When President Truman remodeled the white house the stone was not seen, but was said to be below ground levelon the foundation and could cause a collapse of that part of the foundation if they looked for it.
Mark 12:10 have you not read this Scripture: “‘The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone
Isaiah 28:14-18 Therefore hear the word of the Lord, you scornful men,
Who rule this people who are in Jerusalem,15 Because you have said, “We have made a covenant with death, And with Sheol we are in agreement.When the overflowing scourge passes through,
It will not come to us, For we have made lies our refuge,And under falsehood we have hidden ourselves.”
16 Therefore thus says the Lord God:“Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation,
A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; Whoever believes will not act hastily.
17 Also I will make justice the measuring line,And righteousness the plummet; The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, And the waters will overflow the hiding place.
18 Your covenant with death will be annulled, And your agreement with Sheol will not stand;
When the overflowing scourge passes through, Then you will be trampled down by it
Acts 4:11 He is "'the stone you builders rejected, which has become the capstone.
1 Peter 2:7 Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, "The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone,"
Psalm 118: 22 The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; 23 the Lord has done this,
and it is marvelous in our eyes. 24 The Lord has done it this very day;
let us rejoice today and be glad. 25 Lord, save us! Lord, grant us success
Psalm 11 In the Lord I put my trust; How can you say to my soul,
“Flee as a bird to your mountain”? 2 For look! The wicked bend their bow,
They make ready their arrow on the string, That they may shoot secretly at the upright in heart.
3 If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do? 4 The Lord is in His holy temple,
The Lord’s throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men.
5 The Lord tests the righteous, But the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates.
6 Upon the wicked He will rain coals; Fire and brimstone and a burning wind Shall be the portion of their cup.7 For the Lord is righteous, He loves righteousness; His countenance beholds the upright
