For me, it's not about faith... It's just frustrating not being able to see like God, and only being able to wait. My prayers seem redundant...
 
Lately I haven't cried the lately being a lot of years, early in my life my Mom died when I was 8 and would cry when people mentioned her name. My Dad died when I was 12 I handled that a little better but still cried, my divorce brought more tears, pets dying, feeling unworthy of God's grace, but other than a movie or a touching story, life event or chopping an onion I haven't cried for many years.

I feel the last third of my life has been a lot better than the first 2/3rds. Don't know if that means I have toughened up or just learned to live with what life has been throwing at me as an older person. But the one think I know is that I have chosen to be happy most all of my life as I believe happiness is a choice.

This reminds me of the people in Ukraine. Really the only thing we can do is pray. I always conclude that God is in control and will trust His plan is being played out.

It may seem thay way...but that doesnt mean God isn't doing something behind the scenes. Hang in there ♡
 
I watched a funeral today, and some of the things the family said about their dad bought tears to my eyes, but they also said funny things

when someone else cries I usually end up crying with them...tears and laughter are contagious in a way

I always keep tissues/hankies spare because I not only big crier Im also a loud sneezer and I should never eat too many chillies as that sets off the waterworks as well

I tend to cry when I ask for genuine mercy and forgiveness on my knees from God especially when I think at how much I have sinned without ever asking for forgiveness prior to coming back to faith, how bad a Christian I have been. I try to pray to God for mercy and forgiveness without expecting anything in return and feel shame/anger when my mind does otherwise.

Ive been a terrible christian when I didnt even know I was a christian, thats how rocky my faith had been
when you grow up it seems kind of like being a lily amongst thorns...

God in his mercy let me grow anyway and miracle is, the thorns are less and less each time.

I cried at school when I found out they werent planning on keeping me there. I'm like the oldest child who just stayed on in the library, still reading the picture books.....

I cried when our cat passed away about two weeks ago. We had a burial and I shed a few tears. She was old and getting frail. I said goodbye though she had a good life with us.

A few weeks ago I cried. I miss my wife and have many regrets. She was my best friend!
 
If she was a christian surely you will see her again in heaven? So you have something to look forward to, though its human to miss her now.
 
one of my friends passed away, and then I got dropped from my job...I cried
