When we were Saved, by the cleansing Blood of Jesus, our hearts and our minds went through a Spiritual birth. We if we are saved should no longer put ourselves as number one. We should start walking in Grace, Love, and Compassion that Jesus mirrored in His walk on earth. We should be using our lives doing Good in Jesus's Name. Selfish, Heartless, Vane people do not know or believe God.

6 God poured out to us that Holy Spirit fully through Jesus Christ our Savior. 7 We were made right with God by his grace. God saved us so that we could be his children and look forward to receiving life that never ends.
8 This is a true statement. And I want you to be sure that the people understand these things. Then those who believe in God will be careful to use their lives for doing good. These things are good and will help everyone.

Thanks for posting brother, its really a process from doing good with our own nature until live by faith, its a whole life lesson, may His mercy be with us and may God gain our heart in our daily walk.
