When we choose to serve God by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior we no longer have to put our trust on the Strong Man. God is our protector. If we trust in a strong man, sooner or later a stronger one will show up and defeat our protector. No so when we are on God's side. Dare To Believe !!!

21 When a man of power with his full array of weapons guards his own palace, everything inside is secure.
22 But when a new man who is stronger and better armed attacks the palace, the old ruler will be overcome, his weapons and trusted defenses will be removed, and his treasures will be plundered.
23 Can you see that I’m asking you to choose whose side you’re on—working with Me or fighting against Me?
Luke 11 21-23 The Voice Bible.

You have introduced me to The Voice Bible (which I just ordered). I am a hospice and hospital chaplain, and I can see this bible will be so much easier to read from. I actually like to see the words "Jesus the Anointed" instead of "Jesus Christ" Thank you for using it on your blog.

I know the bible talks about Pastors, but also talks about many have gone out as wolves in sheeps clothing. It would be good for every minister, before he starts things, rolling, or preaching, to say: There is only one Pastor, I am just a man, and I am not taking his place, and look to him, as the good shepard and not me. We then would be equal, just as the bible says, God is not any respecter of persons, and there would be no poor self esteem, as to one giving, or not. It is not any ones business, if the Word of God would be followed correctly, and not stubbornly as to do things someones way, the Blessings of the Father, and the work of the HOly Spirit would not be grieved, and would be very much at work. Dosn't it say, when you give, don't be like the Pharisses, but give of your alms, as to be in such a secret thing, that your left hand dosn't know what your right hand is doing. This is the following of Jesus's teaching, to those who believe it.*
