In the following passages we see Paul writing to the church at Thessalonica. He is telling them to treat people in the same way they would like to be treated. Also to always pursue what is good. He also told the to give thanks to God no matter what circumstances we are in. James said it this way, "Count it all as Joy when we go through various trials." There are a lot of trouble in this world today. A lot of people running around trying to promote their on agendas to make themselves look good. We need to look close at everything these people are doing and test it by the Power of the Holy Spirit and cling to what is good and stay away from agendas that are not for the good of the whole body of believers, The Church, God's Church not mans.
Make sure no one returns evil for evil, but always pursue what is good as it affects one another in the church but also all people. '
Celebrate always,
pray constantly, and
give thanks to God no matter what circumstances you find yourself in. (This is God’s will for all of you in Jesus the Anointed.)
Don’t suppress the Spirit.
Don’t downplay prophecies.
Take a close look at everything, test it, then cling to what is good.
Put away every form of evil.
