Uh, Ritter, just FYI and all, but telling a group of girls (and guys) that you just got back from an amazing first date and not providing any further details is sort of like serving chocolate-chip cookies and witholding the milk. You have left us desperate for more info.......

Alright, I owe you all a little more than that it "went well." Due to circumstances mostly outside my control, I couldn't ask her out until I had a long conversation with her earlier this week. During the course of it I found out she could eat sushi. I've never really tried it before so decided it would be fun to watch me make a fool out of myself.
The day of the date we ended up talking so long we delayed the actual "date" an hour. We went out for sushi. She got to see the comedy routine that was me trying to eat inside a somewhat formal Asian restaurant. Trying to eat sushi. Trying to eat with chopsticks (only to toss them and pick up a fork). Trying to figure out what the little extra bowls are for.
Good food, good conversation. New settings, a little mischief and adventure. It was fun. I hope it turns into something, but if it does not, she'll be an awesome friend. I never got that feeling from other dates. This one I can admire in any context, which makes me want to be around her all the more...oh this is getting sappy.

. It sounds like you have the right mindset to go forward with the relationship, so check with The Big Boss and go with whatever He tells you! It sounds like His hand is in it, though, but I would check with Him, just to be sure, if you haven't already

Somehow, you make wish I had a guy do simple things like that with me for a first date.
You could find out what her interests are (apologies if someone alreaady posted this - I'm too lazy to read all the previous posts!) , and cater to those interests.
You could share about your values in life, recent devotional lessons, etc. Just be careful not to lead the sharing into a monologue.
Ultimately, don't fret too much about what to do next, but just be yourself! I reckon she's probably far more interested in your character than what program you can churn out.

I have many, but let's just start with one.
Nice day + frisbee golf - $$ for gas and inexpensive gifts = nice little date

Hopscotch and Hopscotch. Go to a playground and do that and then , since this is the 2nd date, watch the movie, Hopscotch, with Walter Mathau.
That is a creative date, to me, anyway, but I strongly suggest finding out her faith and taking her to your church, or, go to hers , if whatever is most comfortable for her and closest to God's will .
Always pray heavily before going on a date, Ritt, let God speak to you and He will, I guarantee it , the Lord alwayse leads , the more so at important, perhaps, life-changing events in our life .
