ok, although marijuana can be psychologically addictive, i just can't compare it to opiates. i am 75 years old and the first time i smoked weed was when i was 17. i have never become addicted and now use it rather than opiates to relieve pain of stage IV prostate cancer. there is simply no comparison. it's probably less addictive than coffee, both physically and psychologically
