Stewardship man has dominion and sovereignty on earth but God is above the earth and man is ever subject to him , only not as hired servants but as sons and daughters reverence and always respect thier parent
a if my daddy owns a farm , all the workers are going to reverence me because of him not because I’m anything but because my daddy is thier authority
though i have this position ,min his absence when dad is present everyone is subject to only him even me being his son
what I mean is the only value and sovereignty man has is when they are subject to God and by this relationship they touch upon the sovereignty of God who chose and elected mankind from the beginning to rule over the created th things of earth but in his image and likeness not in this image and likeness
“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.”
Genesis 6:5-6 KJV
So you have what was created and given to man
“And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
Genesis 1:31 KJV
And mans state of no shame in Gods presence
“And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.”
Genesis 2:25 KJV
then you have genesis 6 that shows man’s dominion led the world astray and man actually began to act in satans image and likeness the image of cain
mans soverignty was actually corrupted and taken away by Satan to the point that the gospel is sent to set people free and give them liberty again from that sinful nature corrupted by Satans lie
“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
John 8:31-32, 34, 36 KJV
eonin christ by believing the gospel we can be set free again and receive our liberty of the children of God again no longer bound in a dungeon of sin and darkness
So we preach the gospel to set the captives free and direct them back home where they belong not in a dungeon of sin and death but free and alive
“in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”
2 Timothy 2:25-26 KJV
Recovery , restoration , reconciliation these terms tell us we’re being restored to something prior
this part is being redeemed by the gospel
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”
Genesis 1:27 KJV
Now we’re being redeemed to that place of mans origin
“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.”
2 Corinthians 4:3-5
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV
We’re being redeemed from the corruption that came on man through Adam
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”
Romans 5:12 KJV
Mans true place and state is before they sinned the way to be returned to that place is to repent and have sin remitted in Christ by the gospel
We’re being redeemed and reconciled to Gods original design
