Last night while I was talking Jesus's ear off, this scripture came to me. I began to look into what it says and saw just what a wonderful word it is. I thought about all of Our Father's creation and what an imagination and what creative thought went into all that is. So in hope of knowing him better and looking forward to knowing him one day in heaven I wondered and delighted in all that he is and thought it would be a good thing for all of us to do. So to start, consider squirrels, silly, cute and funny. Then the close cousin, the chipmunk. Totally cute. The daisy, pretty, bright yet they smell ucky. Stars in the sky, so many, all different colors, sizes, shapes and ways of shining. Just in these few things one can be in awe of Our Lord God's creativity, imagination, and sence of humor. his humor being squirrels and the corpes flower. I cant help but wonder at his personallity and delight in all that our Lord God is. I am also amazed at how young and like a well loved child I felt. Now your turn . What do you delight in the Lord ? God bless, pickles

Daikon radishes! They are huge!! Have you ever seen one? They look nothing like the small round red radishes I grew up eating. They are really cool. God is so creative. He can do anything.

Thankyou for posting Kyra. Ive dont know if I ever seen one. Ill have to find one. I know this will seem silly or childish. But I go out to my garden every day just to see even the smallest changes. I cannot be anything less than awed by Our Lord Gods creation. From some of the amazing flowers to the weirdest bugs. The one I wonder about and have to belive in Gods sence of humor are slugs. Slimy, disgusting creatures that eat all your fav. flowers and fruit. I have yet to see a good purpose in them other than to keep us humble or just a good laugh. The worst is when you step on one in bare feet. It takes forever to rid the slime. maby its the slime, a cure for dry skin? Not something Id try anytime soon. I look at the wonders just in my garden and the greatness of God is even this small portion. Is more than I can hold in my thoughts. What wonders will we see when face to face. God bless, pickles

I delight in the different bodies of water. I used to live by the ocean, now I live by Lake Ontario and Niagara Falls. Something about the crashing waves on the rock or rolling up on the beach is so beautiful to me and it speaks to my heart of the Spirit of God, His wildness and movement and it makes me feel like diving into Him. I love Him so much!!

Hi Pickles, so wonderful to see you around again! What a truly wonderful post you have here ma'am.

I myself have done such things, well the Lord worked through me to do it, and allow the process to take place but anyways....I love to lay outside and look at the stars, or clouds myself....it's amazing! The shapes of the clouds, some are very white, some are greyish, some are blue, some are shaped like hearts, some like a cross, etc.

Then the stars, oh my goodness, they're so tiny and the sky so huge! Makes me think of God and us humans...how huge our God is, and how tiny we are..especially compared to Him! Another thing, the sky ''holds'' the clouds and stars, just as our Father holds us in His hands!

One day, God spoke to me...about the rainbow...how symbolic it is and all, how it reminds us of a promise/covinant that He made with Noah to never again destroy the world by a great flood. Well, it goes deeper than that, which is where God really spoke to me....

There's always a rainbow around us, the flowers, trees, grass, clouds, etc. All of God's creations, pure beauty to say the least. However, there's a much bigger rainbow! The one inside our heart, mind, spirit, and soul. That's where the true rainbow is, the love, mercy, grace, patients, compassion, understanding, wisdom, knowledge, etc. all the things that God has given us are!

Lastly, I'll say this. God spoke too me once on what my name means....my first name means ''Lily of the valley'' my middle name means ''greatest'' and my last name means ''dove''. I was laying in bed unable to sleep on night, and God told me this... ''I am the Lily of the valley'' ''the one, true, only, and greatest God of all'...''remember I sent the Holy Spirit upon my Son Jesus when John the Baptist baptized Him, and I told the world, this is My Son, in whom I am very well pleased''.

My goodness, what's in a name! What a true statement there! A very powerful type of name, it left me in such awe of God! I just couldn't understand for the life of me, why on God's green earth, He chose me to have such a name, and one that depicts Him oh so well! Then again, everything about Him, everyting in His word, and everything He does, as well as every way He moves, speaks, etc. leaves me in total awe that I'm speechless many, many times!

Okay I'll stop rambeling here, but it's worth it, to God alone be all the thanks, praise, honor, and glory!

I love to watch and listen to thunder storms (from the cover of the front porch of course)! They are beautiful, powerful, rumbling through the sky, bringing rain to make things grow. It makes me look up into the heavens and feel in awe of our creator.
