Who loves this present life? Let that person despise his life? Who loves riches and wealth? Let that person give to the poor Everything he has. Who cannot contain himself? Let him marry. Who is wise? Let him become a fool. Who is full? Let him become empty. Who is strong? Let him become weak? Who is loved? Let him become hated.

Anyone who loves this life will most certainly gain death. But anyone who hates this life will most certainly gain life. Anyone who is not willing to give EVERYTHING he loves up to follow Christ has nothing to do with Jesus. Anyone who loves his parents, children, house, or wealth, more than Jesus Christ will have nothing to do with him. Anyone who holds his own life dear will not live with Jesus Christ. Deny yourself till death. This flesh cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven. The flesh must be crucified, even as violently, every day. Will you follow Jesus, or will you be manipulated by this world to sin? Repent of sin and follow Jesus, it is the only way to be saved.
