Yes, it does, because it is. :)

Wonder if the Holy Spirit isn't God when He doesn't talk to us, or is He God only when He does? Maybe Jesus is the Father too, since He is Creator? (Colossians 1, John 1).

But I digress, such misnomers and errors arise when people just make up what they want to believe, package it, and call it truth and/or Christianity. 2 Timothy 4:3 is in order as it is being departed from more and more.
Yeah...I just don't get how modalism is even remotely believed. In Matthew 3, Jesus is baptized, the Spirit comes down to Him, and the Father speaks from heaven. There is the triune God. Three distinct persons, not three manifestations, in the Godhead.

Now I'm confused. God wanted to create Himself?

God and Christ were not created. They are the Self Existing by The Holy Spirit from the beginning.

I must be misunderstanding what you wrote. Please clarify.....
Don't get tied up in semantics.
Good Evening Resurrrection33,

In today's meditation I decided to return to your "semantics" post to say that though we think differently concerning some things; I think it possible that we are on the same side of righteousness if (again I say, "not that my opinion matters much") your hope is squarely in Jesus Christ The Son of God; The Father's Gift to the World; that through His life, death and life forever more, we who believe on Him who the Father sent should receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

I kinda think that is both of our hope? For there is no other name among men whereby we must be saved. We cannot redeem ourselves, and neither can sinners mediate (go between/reconcile) on their own behalf before our Father in Heaven who is Holy and separate from sinners. By the power of His Holy Spirit God sent His Son from His own bosom as a Lamb without blemish as that propitiation.

Whether men believe it or not, The Holy Spirit does work in the earth today. That is the whole hope that we have in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the Holy Spirit and in doing so gain power from on high to turn away from sin (called repentance) to follow after His Spirit's leading. And so if Jesus is the anchor of your soul, then in due time we shall be one in spirit and truth, separate and apart from any confusion by way of "semantics."

Luke 9:50 And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.

John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (18) He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Luke 11:13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Acts 4:10-12 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. (11) This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. (12) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

1 John 2:21-22 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. (22) Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son.

2 John 1:7-11 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. (8) Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. (9) Whosoever transgresses, and abides not in the doctrine of Christ, has not God. He that abides in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. (10) If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: (11) For he that bids him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

All of that said, if you read my post, know that I have sought to deal truly with you as a brother, and not judge you for holding a belief that differs from mine. But we are admonished to search the scriptures and reason one with another that we all might come into the unity of the faith and knowledge of the Son of God. In that spirit I would appreciate hearing back from you to know if you at least are in agreement with the Gospel I have relayed above that I might understand better what Gospel you do believe if it happens to be different.

1Ti 2:1-6 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; (2) For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. (3) For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; (4) Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. (5) For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; (6) Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

If nothing else anyone who reads this post will assuredly know what Gospel I breath and that it is wholly anchored in Christ crucified, as witnessed by the Spirit, the water and the blood. And because He arose so shall His faithful arise likewise at the last trump. Even so, come Lord Jesus. Amen.

1John 3:16-18 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
(17) But whoso hath this world's good, and sees his brother have need, and shuts up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
(18) My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

1John 3:23
And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

1John 4:7-8
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God. (8) He that loves not knows not God; for God is love.

1John 4:9-11
(9) In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
(10) Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (11) Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

GOD is Love!
