Trials and afflictions I have
My days full of anguish and soŕròw
The anger that dwells within

Day by day and night by night
The grief ceases to leave
The wicked reign causing pain

I am over whelmed within
Heart broken and spirit crushed
Dare I say Satan's won.

Neigh I say, one battle done
And the next about to begin.
Where is hope that God promisses?

I scream, I shout and no one hears
The world seeks my defeat
My defeat seems nigh

Into Jesus' arms I run
Shelter and solace to seek
Victory over the enemy I ask for

Remembering the promisse in John
A mansion in heaven built for me
Awaiting and prepared by Jesus Himself

Jesus' promisses are mine to claim,
Even victory over the devil himself
For the battle rages on

But the war is far from over
And my duty is clear
To lay down my life for Christ

As He laid down His life for me
Their is none other worthy of sacrifice
Because He will win the war.

I too thought this was very beautiful. Thanks for posting it, it's going to help and encourage many.

I'll certainly remember your honest, heartfelt poem when I settle down with my journal this evening.

Thanks again: keep up the good work!

Thank you I appreciate that and you are very welcome, I am truely honoured that it means so much to you, and remember to pray for me, I'm both proud and honored to admit that God gave me my talent for writing.

This is My Story

Born into religion yet lost in sin
Needing a Savior was told would Win
God was calling while life was so fun
His Love so drawing i began to run
Not away to go further astray
But gathering me near i lost all fear
Tears of Joy ran down my face
Now i was in Him and winning the Race
A stumble hear a stumble there
His Love did not falter it remains here
Now i am old longing for Home
Waiting for His Return coming to the Dome
Do not delay Time is running out
Give God the Glory Before the Angels Shout
Hurry, Hurry now get in the Ark
for the day draws near when All will grow Dark.
Run to Him now, make swift your flight,
for when that Day Comes He will be your LIGHT
AMEN

I really like your work. We have walked similar paths, I was just a little slower to learn.

Anyway, you should have made a separate post, at least in my opinion.

I have also tried to identify the fish, it looks like a salmon but is enormous!
