Bill would require DNA from all misdemeanor convicts

This is an article about a bill that would mandate all future convicts of misdemeanor crimes to submit a DNA test. I believe it's in CO. I know that many people have a huge problem with this, as they believe it will be used on those convicted of minor traffic charges. They also feel that the DNA testing may be sold. Do you think they have valid thoughts? What's your opinion on this bill?

its basically just the modern and future version of fingerprints. I dont really care, and if people dont want to get them on traffic violations then i guess they should be safer drivers
