Do you ever feel like you have so many things that you need/ should work on in your life, that you just dont know where to start?

I feel like everytime i go to church i just come up with another thing in my life that I would like to work on. But now I am to the point where I dont even know where to start. I am almost depressed about it because I dont know what to do. Any ideas?


It is not that I do not believe that Christ can help me through it but it is just that I need a jump start I guess.
 
Start that Christ loves you the way that you are!!! because He created you just the way you are and no one else is exactly like you! :) Then, start with what are you good at?

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your[a] faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
 
Know this, God's strength is sufficient for you weaknesses.

I'm not sure what type of things you are talking about here sis, but consider the book of proverbs, even the whole bible, if there is a particular issue you fail on the answer could be found there, if you would like to share the things you notice i would happily point you to scripture if i can, take care and God bless.
 
You know, there is point in Romans (6:1) where Paul addresses the idea of increasing grace. He explains that NO, we should not keep sinning just to increase the grace we receive.

Typically this passage is used to correct christians who have slid into continuing sinful activities. However, in this case, I want to look at this passage a little different. The whole reason that Paul wrote this seems to stem from the idea that God is so great that He can cover over any of our shortcomings. In fact, He is so great that He actively wants to do so. He is so great that no matter how many shortcomings we have, He can cover them. And in a sense, the more shortcomings we have, the greater God must be to cover them. We see how much greater He is by knowing that the more we fail, the more we see His power and grace.

That said, Paul was being very direct in Romans stating that even though God is SO GREAT, we can't give up. God's incredible grace doesn't give us the right to be apathetic towards or fueled by our sinful actions and desires. By all means, continue to work towards greatness. In the meantime, recognize how great God is; your shortcomings aren't too great or too many for God.

As for where to start... Does it matter?
 
Yes, mint, i know exactly how you feel. I've been working on some things for years and always seemed to find more. Fortunately there's been a big slowdown in discovering new things. Key is, just keep pushing on, keep working. Don't want to get 10.. 20 years down the road and think about where you 'could be now' if you hadn't stopped trying.
