What you're feeling is not strange among people who truly love God. Many sincere believers have seasons where their faith feels strong and other times when they struggle with doubt, discouragement, or inconsistency. Even people in the Bible like David, Elijah, and Peter experienced moments like that.
Loving Jesus and feeling lost can sometimes exist at the same time. Faith is not always a straight line; it can have highs and lows. The fact that you still care about your relationship with God and are concerned about your purpose shows that your heart still desires Him.
God understands our weakness and is not surprised by our struggles. Sometimes these seasons are part of growth, where faith becomes deeper and more genuine, even if it feels confusing.
Instead of trying to fix everything at once, just be honest with God and keep turning to Him. Even a simple prayer like “Lord, I feel lost, but I still want You” is enough. God often meets us in those honest moments.
Whatever happens or doesn't happen, never let go of God; there's no help or comfort outside Him, and the best part of it? He wants to help you...
God bless you
