Calculus is the study of how things change. It is used to model systems in which there is change. The basic aspects of calc are integration (finding area under a curve) and differentiation (finding the instantaneous rate of change). NOTE: calc deals with LOTS of crazy formulas but it is fun ;).
 
I wouldnt buy Math a birthday cake. I took Calculus back in highschool because the way I see it, if you can take on the big ugly monster Math is, you can take on anything and everything. You can also study whatever career you want to since you are good with Math.

I hate math. I think I was last in line when God was handing out the math part of the brain.
