Do you really believe in media? Who is, indeed, your God? (Part 1).

• “And Elijah came to all the people and said, How long are you limping over two opinions? If Jehovah is God, follow Him. But if Baal is God, then follow him. And the people did not answer him a word.” (1Ki 18:21)

Most of the people believe so much in media that, if the owner of a TV company invites a beggar for an interview avouching that he is a doctor and he says that, in according to the researches done in famous universities abroad, it was proved that, rubbing dung of hen in the face prevent COVID, in the next day everybody is walking through the streets with face dirtied of this.

And not only this. People will believe in such a way that most of them will be capable of killing each other (as it is said in Revelation 6:4) only to procure a little of this. It is suffice to dress the beggar with a doctor’s coat, put a stethoscope in his neck and put him on the media.

Beloved ones, don’t give credit to every word that you hear, as it does the fool (simple):

• “The simple believes every word, but the wise man watches his step.” (Pro 14:15).

Watch your steps, try the spirits to see if they are of God (1John 4:1). Use your ears for what they were created: to try the words (Job 34:3).

However, if it is Jesus that is speaking, believe and obey immediately:

• “For all this they still sinned, and did not believe because of His wonderful works.” (Psa 78:32).
• “Who has believed our report? And to whom is the arm of Jehovah revealed?” (Isa 53:1).

Otherwise, this can cost to you the entrance to your “promised land” (Numbers 14:21:23). Thus, pray, go over the Holy Scripture so that you don’t make the mistake of fleeing from what is good for you and embrace what can make you flimsy.

Perhaps you are asking: what do you mean?

The media preaches “social isolation”; Jesus, on the other hand, said to love our neighbor as He loved us (John 14:34,35). The media says that we can contaminate each other; nevertheless, it is the contact with each other that allows us to get in touch with few quantities of virus and bacteria which, in turn, will keep our immune system active and strong.

The truth is: the exercise of the love makes sturdy our spirit (because Jesus is love – 1John 4:8,16), our soul (because it allows us to exchange wisdom, feelings, dreams, experiences, gifts (Rom 1:11), etc.) and our body (as it was quoted above).

We walk by faith, an not by what we hear or see around us (2Cor 5:7):

• “we not considering the things which are seen, but the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are not lasting, but the things which are not seen are everlasting.” (2Co 4:18)

So, have a good day hearing Jesus’ voice and seeing His demonstration of Spirit and power (see 1Corinthians 2:4,5) which characterize the kingdom of heaven (1Cor 4:20).
