Do you think God is more likely to bring me a virgin if I'm a virgin myself?

I also agree its alot harder for them to be different the girl i currently like is a virgin sometimes i feel like it would be tainting for her to be around me lol but i care for her very much and i am happy the Lord brought us together ^_^

What are they teaching in schools these days? It sure isn't thought process.

Don't worry about her being a virgin. Get to know the woman not her body. If you don't get physically involved until you are married STD's are not an issue. If she has something it will come out while you are getting to know her. Make your decision then not before hand. Until you know for sure you are assuming and will never have a girl friend out of fear. Don't let fear control your actions. If you do the fear has won. There is nothing wrong with fear unless it paralyses you into indecision. Any how, there are std's and there are STD's. Most are treatable by antibiotics and will never be a problem once the drug regimen is complete.
 
Wow....I remember when I was supposed to believe this was important,,,,

Never understood why having sex outside of marriage corrupted a person for life, while all other sins had such little impact on the body and soul.

Seems like a hold over from a time when women were considered property and their virginity was a sign of wear.

Makes our postmodern age look not so bad after all.

Not neceseraly, Some STD ares NOT curable & if you have a baby it can be passed down.
& dont be saying to not have fear of catching STDs. First of all Its a SIN to have sex before marriage.
You should fear the Lord & not have sex before marriage.

I think you need to reread what I said. I never said he should be having physical relations before marriage. I didn't say all std's were curable. as for the fear part I meant don't let that fear paralyize you into not meeting or getting to know women.

You are young you really dont need to worry about getting married or whether God is going to send you a virgin. You can go to church functions and events and maybee you will meet someone. Pray about finding the person that God created for you and when you find her take the time to get to know her.

There's no escaping that virginity is a physical thing, as well as spiritual.

I wouldn't marry someone who isn't a virgin, not just because its a 'christian thing', but because I just wouldn't like it. I just would not want to be with a woman who has had sex with another man, even if she regretted it.

I think it is wonderful that you value purity and want to be with a woman who is a virgin. In todays world purity is not valued as much as it once was.
