When a person feels and experiences
Love
In any form
overwhelming feelings of joy
And Strange happiness
Covers the persons being
Blushing contentment
Confidence
Fills the loved ones life
Expression
Words
Even the artifice of " Romantic"
Love
Gives a moment or two
Of the above
flushing emotions
And happiness
Yet
In truth
I do not feel it
Or show it
Or demonstrate it
And by
" It' I mean the
Love that John seems obsessed with and churches
Proclaim in song a variety of ways
" Jesus loves me - This I know"
But do I?
Do I know
The love that conquers all?
The love that in its extension
Heals the sick
Believes all things
And has that silly
I am loved smile
Content and blessedly assured?
Where is that Love
That God had that he gave his only son?
Where is that
Blessed assurance?
How can I give information
Facts, doctrine
But have no idea about the
Love
Which is supposed to be the point if all this
Human experience
This is not a poem
It is something else
Perhaps a first step towards
A gospel
Worth sharing
