So when I was a young teenager, my pastor told a sermon with a message I'll never forget. His sermon was basically, You never know when Christ is coming and he will come unannounced. What do you want him to catch you doing?

Or maybe better said, do you want to be caught full of the spirit or completely unprepared to see him?

Well ever since I will, at random, wake up in the middle of the night, just like a kid who just realized its Christmas morning, completely convinced that its time. I'll sit up in bed wide awake with joy and excitement. Though sometimes I have trouble waking up, I'm laying there trying to peel my eyeballs open so I can see if he's there or not.

The conversation with Him that follows goes along the lines of, "It's not time? Are you sure? Are you sure? I don't want to be sleeping when you come..."

Sometimes it'll happen during the day. The light will bounce off the clouds in a weird way or just something catches my eyes and I'm off with sudden excitement. I know that he'll come like a thief in the night and I probably won't see it coming. I just tend to forget that when these happenings occur.

It doesn't happen very frequently, there could be months in between these incidents.

Earlier this year I had three dreams of his coming in one night.. I really wish I remembered better but life got really distracting since I had it.

It was something along the lines of me going through his coming three times in a row only looking at it from a different perspective each time. One I woke up in the middle of the night and everyone was clued in with what was going on but me(until the last minute). The second I think I was angry with God for coming too soon because we hadn't saved everyone. That one I was kind of in heaven and on earth at the same time. Which doesn't make sense... it was like being in Heaven because there was no barrier between me and God but we were still on the planet. The third one started just after he brought us to heaven and there was nothing but joy.

I know that was from God, though I'm pretty sure it wasn't a prophetic one. More of an attitude adjustment. I think it was something I needed at the time? Wish I could remember properly but God knows our weak minds... I'm sure he'd be glad to remind me what it was I needed to learn.

I know that not everyone gets dreams and I know some people do so my question is- do you guys ever suddenly believe that he's just arrived? Get that sudden, "He's here! He's here!"?

My goodness... on a "spiritual high" just writing that. AKA my heart feels full of love for my savior. Which is good because I've been feeling a bit numb the past month. :) Knew God sent me to this website for a reason. :D <-tends to ramble

nope but if he does come i hope he doesnt open my bedroom door while im watching porn my mum did that to me once and that was embrassing enough.

nah im just kidding but seriously nope never have

Never heard of anything like that before!! :) I have really intense nightmares though...

I had dreams about His coming when I was younger. I know He'll come when the time is right, and even if we don't see it, we'll all get to meet Him, which is what's really important. :) Thanks for posting!

whats it matter, he sees all anyway so this will just be like any other time but he is here physically

I think about His return a fair amount. I like what your pastor said...I see why it stuck with you!

That's a great course corrector. :)

you don't have to worry when Christ comes he will wake us the scripture is refering to not accepting the Lord it is about not going to sleep on the decision on beliving in Christ we should try be conserned more about how we serve Christ when we meet Him
