Failing to put them behind us will only cause us to dwell on them, making the past more real to us than the promises of God. Get your eyes off the past and onto your future by purposefully meditating on the Word of God. Be diligent to replace every fearful, worrisome thought of the past with the scriptural promises for your future. Live today with the assurance that while you are in Christ and His Word is alive in your heart - nothing will keep you from being the overcomer He made you to be.
