Did you know you can literally defraud, and take advantage of a fellow sibling in the faith by being purposely sexual and provoking such desires/thoughts/actions in them?

1 Thessalonians 4

4 Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God; 2 for you know what commandments we gave you through the Lord Jesus.

3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; 4 that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, 5 not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God; 6 that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified. 7 For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. 8 Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given[a] us His Holy Spirit.

Each of us has a responsibility to exercise self-control in relation to sexual matters. But we also have another responsibility, and that is to conduct ourselves in such a way, that we don't provoke others in to sexual impurity/immorality. To do such is to literally defraud and take advantage of them.

God wants us to be sanctified. He wants us to have self-control, and flee sexual immorality.

God will avenge people who purposely try to defraud and take advantage of fellow siblings in the faith through actions that purposely are meant to provoke unGodly sexual desires.

because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified.

Listen I'm not trying to make people feel paranoid about every action they take. Obviously we can't over think EVERY action we do, and walk in fear that it may provoke some ungodly desire in someone.

On the other hand, we're well aware of those who purposely/with intent, go out of their way to present themselves in such a way, that it provokes thoughts/desires/actions that are clearly not in keeping with what God wants.

Brothers/sisters in the Lord, don't take/post/whatever pictures of yourself that are intentionally meant to arouse feelings of sexual desire. Brothers/sisters in the Lord, if you see someone intentionally doing this, don't feed in to it. In fact, FLEE from it!

Again, this isn't meant to make people second guess every action they do. But it is meant to remind folks not to intentionally do stuff that you KNOW is going to provoke certain thoughts/actions/desires.

Excellent, stilledwater, we are to focus on the things of God and in so doing we do not fall into the sinewy, seductive trap of our flesh at work, which is Satan at work in us.
All of us get guilty of this thinking from time to time, it's easy to fall into this trap, for sin doesn't feel bad it just IS bad, and, it DOES destroy us. :(

So, we are to concentrate on things which get our mind on Him, we are to have things in our place that gainfully keep us in right relationship with Him. How will I know, green? What fruits do you get out of what you are doing is a good answer, for God will give you fruit for leading others unto choices of righteousness. And.....

...in this internet age we live in it's very easy for us to HURT each other. Words are powerful.tools, so pray to God that you use them complimentary to build someone uo,, esteem them , and, not 'defraud' them , as word stilledwater said, and, not undo their good trying to focus on their place in this world .

And, now will you know if a picture in your profile or, even, avatar, is causing others to stumble, we will know from inside us, Him.telling us, and other brothers and sisters in Christ should be compelled to tell you of your unbeknownst seductress pictures.

We are to be accountable to one other. Being on c.c. is no different from.anywhere else, we are to watch out for each other, not that moderators don't do great job of doing things as the Lord leads them greatly like are led stilledwater, katydid (iraasup), and, oncefell, but, God is The only one who can be everywhere at once, and, He uses us to help each out, too :)

We MUST not do things knowingly to tempt others, tempting is of Satan, so, the correlation of 'I think, therefore, I am,' becomes . And, God says,in 1 Cor. 8:1 2 that causing a brother (or sister) to stumble is for you to 'sin against Christ.' :(
