Dowry problem for sister

Friends, in the evening mom came home and told sister is crying, and she told my mom that her husband is demanding dowry.

As you all know dowry is a social and evil problem, please do pray that God remove the dowry thought from bro.-in-law and his family's mind. Let them love and respect my sister and let she live a happy life with her husband.

How Levi according to Indian laws, it’s illegal to ask for dowry now due to the dowry prohibition act 1961. Demanding it is now a criminal offence and can result in prison apparently.
