This Thursday I will be driving to Illinois. For me that is a 10.5 hour drive.
Please keep me in your prayers for Gods speed and safety and also
so I don't get lost!
Also keep my mom in your prayers so that she will have peace with
me driving that far.

I just did the same thing in January. From WV to NH. I had never driven so far before. It took me about 15 hours to get there and 16 to get back home. BUT, I did it. You will do just fine. (and just so you know.....the trip was so that I could go to a CC wedding :)) You never know what will come out of those you meet from in here. :)

but we didnt meet on here. so yeah :)

Thats great! I am sure you two will have a wonderful time. I have not had a chance to visit with Hersecretrefuge....I do not go into chat very often....only early mornings sometimes. I have though, met a total of 4 people from this chat in real life.

There are some people that acctually say it is "just" the internet, or "just" a chat room. I have even read forum posts to that affect. I acctually find that a sad and cynical viewpoint myself. People forge REAL friendships and relationships this way. I know of 7 off the top of my head that have met through here and gone on to get married. Some have even moved to another country.

I hope you have safe travels, and that you have a wonderful time meeting face to face. :)

How crazy! I just left Illinois for my husband's last job. I'm from Kansas and it was about a 9 1/2 hour drive. I was in Kewanee, Illinois. It is such a small world. And yes, hersecretrefuge is very nice! =) I'll be praying for your safety! Have a fun time together, girls. <3
