16 You will [a]know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?17 So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 So then, you will [c]know them by their fruits.
Ano ba ang favorite fruit ninyo? My favorite is mangga hindi ba pag natikman na natin kulang pa ang isa to satisfy our cravings at kapag bumibili naman tayo pinipili natin yun maganda at hindi bulok yun ang binibili natin. Likewise in our Christian life paano nga ba tayo magkakaroon ng good fruits at hindi bulok??? Jesus shares a parable na hindi nagbubunga.
Luke 13:6-9 (NIV) 6 Then he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it but did not find any. 7 So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, ‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’8 “‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone for one more year, and I’ll dig around it and fertilize it. 9 If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.’” How evident it is in our life? Katulad ng natural process of planting of tree may kailangan tayong gawin for us to be fruitful in our Christian Life here it is:
5 Ways To Be Fruitful
• Cultivate – Ask the Lord to cultivate your heart in every things that hinder your Christian life to be fruitful.(release forgiveness,sins)
• Water- Water your life with His word everyday and soak in His presence.
Leviticus 26:3-4 (NASB) 3 If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments so as to carry them out, 4 then I shall give you rains in their season, so that the land will yield its produce and the trees of the field will bear their fruit.
• Fertilize – Fertilize our life with prayer and intercede for others through this consistent communication to God we will be more closer to Him.
• Sunlight – represents Jesus , let Jesus shine in your life be a living testimony.
Matthew 5:16 6 Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
• Prune – Die to your own desires, have a teachable heart. Submit to His will.
John 15:2-3(NIV)2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.

Kapag nagawa na natin yun 5 ways to be fruitful definitely mabungang-mabunga tayo at magaganda ang magiging fruits natin. If we really apply that in our life the result will be evident in our life…Harvest time na!

9 Fruits of the Spirits are Strengths

• Love- is the strength to put others first. It is the strength to be unselfish, to bear and endure all things. Love seeks not her own, but put others first.
• Joy- “The joy of the Lord is our strength” Joy cleanses and heals our spirit of hurts, grudges, and depressions. Joy even strengthens us physically and gives us energy.
• Peace – is the strength to be calm in the storms. It is not shaken with doubts, fears, and the assaults of the enemy. Peace brings stability to our hearts and minds.
• Longsuffering- is the strength not to “give up” but to endure difficulties, delays, and circumstances.
• Gentleness- is the strength not to be rough or abrasive with others. It is the strength to be kind. It is an outgrowth of wisdom. Only a strong person can be gentle.
• Goodness – is the strength to do what is morally right. It puts aside its own desires and does what is eternally best for another.
• Faithfulness- is the strength to overcome the world, Satan and dark trials (1 John 5:4) and it moves mountains. Faith is greater than any problem we have.
• Meekness – is the strength not to retaliate, verbally or physically (Isaiah 53:7)/1 Peter 2:21-23). It is also the strength to accept our circumstances without anger.
• Temperance (Self Control) –is the strength not to indulge; it is the strength to control appetites and passions. Samson was not strong in spirit.
Evidence of Fruitfulness
Ministry – Fruitfulness doesn’t based on how many ministries we have. It is by living the character of Christ while doing our service in His kingdom. (Faithful, Available, Teachable, Submissive).
Family – Fruitfulness can be evident by honoring and obeying our parents & be a responsible daughters and sons.
Worship – Fruitfulness is by expressing our worship to the Lord passionately during or not during Sunday services.
*Norman Holmes – The highest worship we can offer is a heart and life that obeys & even delights to obey the will of God. Without this all of our music and singing will be only as empty noise to the Lord.
Work/School – Fruitfulness can be seen by being a responsible students/employee, respecting our teachers and classmates/employers colleagues.
Let the Fruit of the Spirit be EVIDENT in ou r life,maging obvious sa ating buhay Kristyano ang mga bungang ito.
