I wanted to share this recipe with everyone as I find it is extremely delicious and has always been a hit!
Very simple and full of goodness

1 Large Butternut Squash
2 Medium White Onions
3 Large Carrots
1-2 Stalks of Celery
5-8 Potatoes
4-6 Chicken or Vegetable broth blocks
6-8 Cups of Water
Basil, Garlic, Salt/Pepper, Chives
3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
(No specific ratio, depends on amount you want or don't want)

Boil Chicken broth blocks and Water in large pot
Cut vegetables into cubes, combine into broth.
Boil until vegetables soft, mash together
Combine seasonings ect into soup
Continue stirring and cooking on medium heat
Simmer for 4 hours
SERVE with Baguette and Oil/Butter

a nice one,, thanks, i always keep a variety of soups frozen in one or two serving containers for quick hot meals in the winter,,,this one will be added to my stock.

I love butternut squash, sliced in half with real butter, maybe three pats of real butter cut off a stick of butter, with ground black pepper and a sprinkle of cinnamon, baked in the oven. (375 degrees , 40 to 50 minutes. Test to be sure its fully baked at around 35 minutes as some ovens are hotter than others. )
For the OP recipe, be advised that broth, bouillon blocks, will taste much different than homemade broth.

Sounds really good and easy to make. Maybe have a grilled cheese sandwich go along with it.
