I am 30 years old and have lived with my grandmother my entire life. I have cared for her full time since she became paralyzed in February of last year with NO help from anyone. Her daughters all made excuses as to why they could not help and made promises that are still left unfilled. She was scheduled for surgery this past Thursday and called to let them know she was going in. They recently found out she is expecting a settlement from a lawsuit last year so they eagerly volunteered to come up and take turns staying with her. I have been attacked by each of them over the last few days with them saying "We are her children, you are just a grandchilld. She is OUR mother. I know that better than anyone else. That is why they should have been here over the last 18 months. I called security to come up to the hospital today because my aunt lunged at me when I walked into ICU to visit my grandmother. I live her and I have custody of my three year old niece. My aunts want to take this house because they are telling me that they were born first so it belongs to them. I do not feel safe but I literally have NOWHERE to go. Please pray for an answer from God to resolve this enemy attack. The devil is working against me but I am trying so hard to stay in faith. Please, please pray for peace and comfort witha resolve.

Are her daughters Christians? or do they claim to be at least?

Thanks Bonnie. They both claim to attend church and the oldest attends a Christian Seminary saying that she is going to be a minister. She is the one who has lunged at me and causes much family controversy. I cannot begin to explain but please lift us up in your prayers.

What a crucible, HoldingOn. I pray that the Lord comforts you, gives you favor and makes a way forward for you. What a lesson in the worthlessness of the external labels people try to put on themselves. May the Lord show Himself strong on your behalf (2Chr 16.9)

What you have here, is The family reacting to you, because you are a threat to them ....because of her money. Goes on all the time. They only got involved because of seeing you as a threat. Only the person you are keeping can stop this, if able.

She is the one to set her wishes. If need be have a lawyer have her draw up a new will, or just her wishes until she passes.

HoldingOn, please know that you are in my prayers. I can only imagine how hard it must be going through a struggle involving ailing loved ones and money.
