Just a reminder, when things aren't going alright, if there's no peace, if you don't seem to connect to the Spirit as you once did, drop your agenda and make heeding the Spirit your priority. Sometimes we get caught in doing this, doing that and we actually don't know if this is what God would want us to do, until things go wrong only for us to be back to listening to the Spirit. Remember, the burden is light, Jesus is gentle, if He's more like a harsh Father to you, maybe it's time to mourn, weep (not out of guilt, but in order to release all suffering off our shoulders again) so you can be able to listen to His voice again and walk in light ;)

btw - fasting is spiritual

As a bodybuilder full fasting for even a day would be quite a challenge for me. I'm intrigued to challenge myself in that manner as sin indulges me in other ways.

As a foodie full fasting will be a challenge. Pray that I have the strength to last a day.

The Summer that I got saved ('75) I put on the drabbest old clothing and sat in my closet most the day on a fast (well hey, I was a babe). :]

I can't fast. I'll get sick of my stomach.
