Hey I'm 18 and in my final year at college but I'm struggling with the workload, I also do alot of Volunteer work with children so that puts more stress on my body I keep asking god for his help but he has never answered my prayer i just dont want to go back to how I was before I gave my life to god :( please help me thankyou

Answer sounds pretty simple. You're doing too much.. do less. Sounds like you're trying to take on more than you can handle. Thats not a problem you need God to help with, it sounds like you need to be more aware of your own limitations and work within them. The way you're feeling is just consequences of your choices, if you don't like how you feel, change what you're doing. Seems to me taking time off from your volunteer work til you finish school is the answer. Pick it back up once you are finished with school.

i understand what you are going through.i must ask why you are helping the children? honestly? do you feel it is a duty or are you doing it to glorify God? i ask this because if it the second one and defintely not the first than he will give you strength. evey day people wake up and face persecution and are jailed and tortured for loving God and Jesus. our lives are exactly like that however when we see our brothers and sisters suffering just because they proclaim his name we can get perspective on our own lives. The holy spirit is what guides us and gives us strength, knowledge, patience, peace. you must pray to the holy spirit, not just God. pray to the holy spirit that you have see that you dont need more strength, you just need to see the spirit AS your strength and peace. once you acknowledge that you dont actually need help. you just need to open your eyes and heart to see that God lives in you!! the same God who rose jesus from the dead is living inside you and if he can defeat death he can defeat fatigue. i will be praying for you :) God Bless.

although i see what you are saying i must comment on it. if this person is doing these things for God then we must not tell them to chill or do less. we must join them in there discernment and boldness. we must pray for them and their strength. not discourage them and tell them to quite or take a break. Jesus never took a break. He worked for God in everything he did. "in all you do, do for the Glory of the Lord". right? praying for us all to do more and seek the spirit more so we may have more strength.

I'm doing A performing arts course then a youth service course after it god has showed me visions of my furture as working with the christian youth and children :) all this work is towards it so I cant just quit.

Just because a person has good intentions doesn't mean their actions are right. She said shes been praying and that God is not helping. Shes making herself physically ill. I don't believe God is directing her to make herself sick in the name of doing right. Nor is God showing Himself in her choices. The 'Christian thing to do' is not make yourself sick, the bible says to use wisdom. That's not wise.

God told a man once to pickup Golf because that builds Charachter. Also Jesus Christ would like to see you work with 100% of your capacity on anything you do, everyday. Sounds like you didnt get those Jobs or Volunteer work by God, but you put them on your own shoulders. See what you can handle and retreat yourself from the rest.

God told this man to play golf? i dont't think god is into golf more like the lotto, don't tell people t do that, thay should find the goog thing they do and do that

call me ignorant but i believe "all things are possible through Christ who strengthens me". if you see i asked her if she is doing these things out of duty as a christian or if she feels she is called to do it to glorify God. and i also said if it is from God then there is hope. if it is just her trying to give her flesh as a sacrifice through physical performance she is def doing the wrong thing. sorry if i came off unclear

Marcus 4 ( KJV )
37And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. 38And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
39And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

So Jesus did take a break, gospel 101. Even under old-testament law you had to observe the Sabbath, which is basically a weekly break.

well played sir. i may have come off a bit harsh. Jesus did and even the Father did when creating the earth. i should have said maybe not to take too long of a break lol i just dont want to see fatigue and weakness hinder those of us who have the power of God Living inside of us. i guess i can only speak for myself but there have been too many a time where i know it wasnt me doing what i had to do but God through me and the Spirit in me. ive been running on E for a while now but i wake up every morning and thank God for sustaining me
