I log on FB this afternoon after picking up my kids, and according to a former classmates status...it seems as though a fellow classmate died. I don't really know what to make this. Did I know this person extremely well, or even well enough to call a friend? No. But the thing was, there was not many major "status" issues in our class. Their were cliques sure, but pretty much all of us got along, and we all knew each other and smiled and said hi when we saw each other, and we still do when we see each other. We never looked down on each other. And this guy in particular, I always remembered being the life of the party kind of guy. Not that I went to any parties, but he had a presence that just brought life everywhere with him. The "class clown" so to speak. My class was one full of metal heads, and he was the biggest of us all. In just a month or so my class will be getting together for their 10 year reunion. I always wondered what happened to this guy, I haven't seen him in years, and now I won't. And it feels, weird. Makes me wish I had gotten to know him better, or at least see him at least one more time. He was liked, and loved by a lot of people. And there will be more than a few hurt from his loss. Keep his friends and family in your thoughts and prayers if you could.

Well it seems I was a bit hasty...The guy I was referring to was a jr. His dad had the same name and was the highschool wrestling coach, and that's who died. Still, he made a a big impact on a lot of lives, so prayers are still needed.
