I have heard a certain man do this, preaching hell, but neglecting the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is salvation from that place for sins we have done, which we cannot undo, but can be undone by the blood of Jesus.

It was not the fear of hell that brought me to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It was realizing that I had committed a great trespass against God and was in need of mercy. And then I found out the cost of my sin, and I needed mercy. I NEED MERCY!! I don't need people telling me that I am good, that I am a good person, God knows me well, and he would contend with me if I claimed to be good, as if by my goodness I am saved. Pfft!!

And this was the snare, I knew I was evil, and no one could convince me otherwise, so then I walk into a group of people, some claiming to be Christians, and some people claiming to be Atheists, and other people just listening. The whole mess it was.

And some people would have me think that I am good, when I knew for sure that is not true, as if they could tell. Then some people who just were spiteful told me I didn't need to be good because God isn't real. And other things like what is good is what is good to you. So both were liars. Fake righteousness and ignorant Atheists.

I am so glad that the Lord Jesus saves us from death by his mighty power. Because there are so many words but hardly any Power. So many do's and don'ts but hardly any power. But I am SURE now where the power is, and it is in JESUS CHRIST! So I test a man who has words but no JESUS CHRIST!! Yes! I test you. And I test a man who says HELL HELL HELL, but nothing of Jesus's salvation from it.

I test a man who says PEACE AND SAFETY when it is obvious that God is angry with sin.

I TEST MEN! As I have learned, the spirit is tried so that we can see the work, whether it is wrought in God or in Satan. We know that Satan is the author of confusion and strife. So where I see strife I see the end being Evil, and by Satan. That is how out of the same mouth goes blessings and cursings, neglecting Jesus who said to bless those who curse you. And I see the tongue that is set on fire of hell. And it it is full of sensuality, and lust. Lusting to envy and destroy, to kill, and to rob.

What is Sin without Grace? What is Grace without works? Shouldn't we be complete in Christ? Moving on to perfection?

What I have found is God uses the good and the bad to do his will. While I was looking for God more I hopped from Christian station to Christian station and bounced between one preaching fire and brimstone to one of love. There seems to be a need for both when one is looking. Maybe the fire and brimstone teacher is putting the fear of God in some wayward person , cause the first show of respect is fear. Can't remember where the bible vs. are but I could find it if I had my concordance out. Every Christian is in there own unfinished state. I was taught that if someone says he is a Christian to take them at their word. Just because one is having a down time or troubled time doesn't mean they are not are not where God has meant them to be. We are all under different trials and some of those most definetely won't look that great. Trials that will put us more where he wants us and to make us more like him. I can only hope for the time where I'm mature enough that I don't fear or worry about being led astray by any Christian in trials or non Christian that I know the spirit voice well enough that I'm at peace.
 
The fear of the Lord is the begining of knowledge, Psalm: 111:10.

Psalm 111:10....The fear of the LORD is the begining of wisdom; A good undersanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever.

And you cannot take a persons word just because they say they are christians. Satan can counterfeit anything to get you away from God.

1 Thessalonians 5:21..... "Test all things; hold fast what is good. 22....Abstain from every form of evil.......

2 Corinthians 13: 5.....*Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, " that Jesus Christ is in you?------unless indeed you are disqualified.

1 John 4:1.......Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but "test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.......

Amen. We should be ever ready to believe the best of other, but we will know where a person is by the fruit. Is there joy? peace? Thanksgiving? May Jesus bless you.
